I’ll recommend that you play OpenTTD instead: https://www.openttd.org/en/

Started life as Chris Sawyer’s (of Roller Coaster Tycoon fame) take on Railroad Tycoon, before being cloned as an open source project. Not as nice looking, but much more to do.
